One bedroom downstairs is perfect for children or a granny who hates stairs, two upstairs have velux windows and pale cream carpets. All beds have good solid mattresses and nice white cotton sheets; bathrooms are positively smug with shiny newness. There’s another cottage next door and you share a utility room, but when you’re sitting out you feel private.

This is the cottage on the left and we as yet we haven’t been able to furnish it out beautifully. When we do it will be most spectacular and dog-friendly.
